Tennessee manufacturer picks Charlotte over Atlanta for HQ

A Johnson City, Tenn., manufacturer has chosen Charlotte, N.C., over Atlanta to move its headquarters and 200 jobs. The $10 million project from NN Inc. will bring in jobs that will pay a minimum of $139,900 in the relocation. Charlotte's latest headquarters is headed for the 152,000-square-foot Hub building in Waverly, the mixed-use project south of Interstate 485 at the intersection of Providence Road and Ardrey Kell Road, according to Charlotte City Council's Monday agenda. A listing for a business incentive grant for NN is on the agenda, which says the company is proposing to lease 50,000 square feet at Waverly.
