Renishaw opens new additive manufacturing Solutions Centres in Europe

Global engineering firm, Renishaw has expanded its network of additive manufacturing (AM) Solutions Centres with the opening of two new facilities in Europe. New centres in Barcelona, Spain and Torino, Italy are now fully operational and will allow local businesses to access the company’s metal AM technology and expertise at a fixed cost.
First announced at TCT Show in 2015, Renishaw’s Solutions Centres are designed to break the barriers to metal 3D printing by giving businesses a secure development environment in which to build their AM knowledge and assess capability and costs for their applications. In addition to Renishaw’s latest multi-laser AM systems, the facilities are equipped with all of the necessary metrology, finishing and machining equipment required to make a functional part.
