Rapid Application Group adds Ultem 9085 and 1010 materials to FDM service offering

Rapid Application Group (RAG), a 3D printing service provider, has added Ultem 9085 and Ultem 1010 as production materials for its fused deposition modelling (FDM) offering.
The company serves both prototyping and production needs throughout a variety of industries, including aerospace, motorsport, healthcare, and energy. It harnesses printing systems powered by FDM; stereolithography and Digital Light Printing; as well as powder bed fusion, both polymers and metals. It also provides 3D scanning, reverse engineering, and inspection services, as well as CNC, assembly and custom finishes.
With the new additions to its FDM services, RAG believes it is bringing enhancements to its work in some of the markets it works with. Ultem 9085 is an approved materials for use in aerospace and automotive for components like housings, ducts, as well as functional prototypes and production parts. It boasts resistance to heat, chemicals, and impact, while also being dimensionally stable, durable with outstanding tensile strength.
