Rapid Application Group achieves mission critical standard for additive manufacturing

Additive manufacturing service provider, Rapid Application Group LLC has announced it has achieved certification to the AS9100 Rev. D quality management standard for its Oklahoma-based manufacturing facility. Founded by a group of seasoned military and additive manufacturing specialists, the company is believed to be the first service-disabled veteran-owned small business in North America to achieve the certification, which pertains to Aviation, Space and Defense quality standards. AS9100 Rev. D provides manufacturing suppliers with a comprehensive quality system for providing safe and reliable products. RAG says the certification strengthens its competitive position as it continues to provide what it refers to as, Mission Critical Additive Manufacturing with services in fused deposition modelling, selective laser sintering and stereolithography.
