The High QA office in the metropolitan Toronto area will provide sales, training, implementation, support and professional services as well as product development for its manufacturing quality management software (QMS) to Canadian aerospace, automotive, oil and energy, medical and other manufacturing companies.

The company's comprehensive manufacturing quality software enables the $174 billion Canadian manufacturing industry to substantially improve quality productivity and efficiency by 5-10 times. Snapdragon Chemistry and Asymchem Abandon Planned Acquisition

Snapdragon Chemistry today announced that the previously announced acquisition by Asymchem will not proceed. Snapdragon and Asymchem were unable to agree to mitigation terms that would satisfy the U.S. Treasury's Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). "We are disappointed this deal was unable to be completed, The goal of the deal was to expand domestic manufacturing capacity and be able to deliver a full range of drug development services to our clients. KLA Announces Plans to Build a New R&D and Manufacturing Facility in Newport, Wales

KLA Corporation (NASDAQ: KLAC) has announced plans to build a new research-and-development (R&D) and manufacturing center for the SPTS division, in Newport, Wales, UK. The new development designed to meet BREEAM standard of sustainability rating of excellent is expected to include a capital investment of more than $100 million and create a 200,000 square foot facility. The new state-of-the-art innovation center and manufacturing facility will include offices, cleanrooms, storage and support facilities and accommodate up to 750 employees. "SPTS has experienced significant growth in its business over the past several years and is a highly successful division of KLA, We are investing in the new site to support SPTS's growth and to establish additional facilities for the wider KLA European organization. Crown Laboratories Announces Expansion of Manufacturing Facility

The additional 60,000 sq. ft. will bring the Lafe Cox Drive facility to approximately 250,000 square feet – enough to accommodate the warehouse space that is required to keep up with Crown's growing manufacturing and packaging needs. It has been producing record numbers of finished goods on a consistent month over month basis.
