Crocs is closing its manufacturing facilities, but they say they're here to stay

Could it be curtains for Crocs? If you were one of those people who decried the rubberized clogs as the ugliest fad that would never last, you may just get your "I told you so" moment soon. The company recently announced it will closing its remaining company-owned manufacturing facilities and its chief financial officer will be replaced.
Earlier in 2018, the shoe manufacturer announced it intends to close 160 stores by year-endNorth Jersey Media Group. In July, Crocs debuted their first high-heeled shoe, and they were selling like hotcakes.
