Blum shows it has the measure of UK manufacturing

Blum-Novotest, which works across the automotive, aerospace, medical and machine tool sectors, and launched a UK subsidiary in 2000. The target this year is for another 20% growth, with the company set to build on the early success of its DIGILOG touch probe systems by officially launching LC50 – its latest laser control technology.
This new innovation has been described as “the world’s most advanced laser measuring system” and will reportedly deliver up to a 60% reduction in the time taken to check and measure parts within a CNC machine.
Managing director of Blum-Novotest Limited, David Mold explained: “We are finding that a lot of our customers are increasingly looking to source measurement solutions that are quick, can perform on complex components and, importantly, can be fitted to the inside of a machine tool for real-time data and the best possible accuracy.”
