AM Ventures expands additive manufacturing investment activity to Asia

Strategic additive manufacturing (AM) investor, AM Ventures Holding GmbH (AMV), is expanding its global reach with the opening of a new office in Korea, to support investment activities in Asia Pacific. AM Ventures Asia, the liaison office of AMV, will be based in Busan and led by Simon (Sangmin) Lee as the Regional Director of Asia. Simon has long-term AM industry experience in the region following his previous role as sales manager at EOS GmbH in Korea.

We see great potential to grow our ecosystem throughout Asia supporting Asian startups in the AM industry in realising their innovative technologies and business ideas. Over the last four years, the Munich based independent investor has established sustainable strategic investments and a strong partner network to utilise advanced manufacturing technologies, in particular AM, for serial production. AMV has invested in a number of start-ups across AM hardware, software, materials and applications including 3Yourmind, Sintratec, DyeMansion, Elementum 3D, Vectoflow and Conflux Technology.
