ADDMAN Acquires Dinsmore to Advance Polymer Additive and Quick-Turn Capabilities

California-based polymer 3D printing services provider, Dinsmore & Associates, Inc., was acquired by ADDMAN Engineering, the company announced yesterday. The acquisition adds Dinsmore to ADDMAN’s network of manufacturing solutions network increasing its polymer production capability, while and significantly enhances its existing additive and traditional manufacturing services.

Dinsmore is recognized as a pioneer of additive manufacturing technology in the U.S., renowned for its engineering-centric, value-added go-to-market strategy, rapid manufacturing capabilities, and quality. Dinsmore enables clients with a focus on medical applications to create prototypes, design and develop products, and carry out small-scale production. The company operates over 35 additive machines, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as MJF, FFF, DLS, PolyJet, DLP, SLA, and FDM and a quick turnaround time of production of under 5 days.

The Additive Manufacturing User Group (AMUG) awards the Distinguished Innovator Operators Awards (DINO) to top leaders in the additive field. ADDMAN's five DINOs include Jason Lopes, Bob Markley, Bill Braune, Jay Dinsmore, and Dr. Youping Gao.

Dinsmore marks ADDMAN's fifth acquisition over the past two years.
