3DGence teams with Arkema and Armor to open up PAEK 3D printing capabilities

Polish 3D printer manufacturer 3DGence has announced a collaboration with Arkema and Armor Group to bring a new polyaryletherketone-based or PAEK material to its certified filament library. Armor Group’s Kimya PEKK-A filament, a high-performance material based on Arkema Kepstan PEKK Resin, is now available to print on 3DGence’s INDUSTRY F340 desktop printer along with its ESM-10 support material. The ability to print PEKK-based materials with supports is said to enable more complex geometries for high-strength, high-temperature parts, particularly those with thin-walls and engineered voids. 3DGence believes this collaboration between materials and hardware will open up new possibilities for PEKK applications.
