3D Systems and Toyota Motorsport partner to develop first-to-market 3D printing products

3D Systems and Toyota Motorsport GmbH are to develop first-to-market 3D printing systems, materials and software platforms after entering into a partnership to change automotive engineering. Their efforts to develop these products will focus primarily on advanced laser sintering technologies, and a portfolio of materials to support them, that have the capabilities to meet the high-quality, lightweight demands of motorsport. TMG has also named 3D Systems its ‘Additive Manufacturing Machine Provider of Choice’ and will soon integrate the vendor’s Figure 4 Standalone, ProX 800, sPro 60, sPro 230 machines and Geomagic Design X software into its manufacturing operations.
