Essentium ramps up production of High Speed Extrusion 3D printing system

October 15, 2019 / Sam Davies

Essentium has announced it is ramping up production of its High Speed Extrusion additive manufacturing platforms. The company has also expanded its international operations with the appointments of a General Manager for the Asia Pacific region and a Channel Sales Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Further to these developments, 2019 has also been a productive year for Essentium in terms of commercialising materials with seven already added to the portfolio, and more to come at Formnext. These developments have come as a result of growing market demand and despite Jabil’s filing of a trade secrets lawsuit against the Texas-based vendor this summer. Essentium has been working to bring to market an extrusion-based additive manufacturing platform that enables users to scale to high volumes of parts. Powered by a high-speed motion system and a growing materials portfolio, Essentium has been eyeing manufacturers who need volumes of high-quality parts at speed.
