Channel partners frequently have more influence than the manufacturers on how prospects make decisions. Historically, the channel has provided scale to manufacturing sales operations, and manufacturers have accepted a reduction in the amount of control they have over revenue streams.  More recently, it has become clear that being distanced from end customers comes with a more significant cost-the inability to identify and quickly react to their needs.
The requirement to see through to the end customer is critical to taking advantage of the technologies disrupting manufacturing. The 2018 JDA Intelligent Manufacturing Survey, for example, found that 44 percent of manufacturers are focused on improving forecasting with demand sensing-and this requires a clear line of site to end customer behavior, starting with an infrastructure to go direct-to-customer (D2C).

This facility plan includes steps facilitating multi-modality manufacturing and state-of-the-art quality laboratories to ensure safe, reliable supply to patients. The facility has certification of OSHAS 18001 (Health & safety management system), ISO 14001 (Environmental management system), and ISO 50001 (Energy management system). Currently, this is the largest among other several facilities in Resilience’s growing biologics and advanced therapeutics manufacturing network. It plans to get and develop other sites in the U.S. this year as well. The facility offers 24/7/365 production, multiple downstream processing trains, and 2000L bioreactors capacity. Apart from this, it has done investments in some more capabilities, which are ready to come.

Increase in US Agricultural & Manufacturing Output to Support Demand for Soybean Products

US demand for soybean products is forecast to increase less than 1.0% annually in volume terms through 2024, according to Soybean Products: United States, a report recently released by Freedonia Focus Reports. Suppliers will benefit from expected increases in US output of animal feed and manufacturing activity, which are in turn bolstered by population growth and consumer spending. However, the domestic market for soybean products is largely mature, and competition from other types of feedstock in major applications will act as a restraint on further demand growth. Demand for soybean products in animal feed is projected to remain the leading market segment. Output by the US meat and poultry industry is expected to increase due to a growing domestic population and rising consumer spending. Favorable macroeconomic and dietary trends in export markets for meat and poultry will also support demand for animal feed. However, competition from other feed ingredients, including meal byproducts of other oilseeds, will continue to weigh on faster gains.
