ST Robotics Introduces the Delta Industrial Robot

ST Robotics has introduced the ST R18 Delta Robot System, the newest addition to the low-cost industrial robot line.

The ST R18 Delta industrial robot turnkey system is based on the Igus drylin® delta robot but operated by ST's K11R robot controller, resulting in even higher speeds, with the potential to complete a typical 12-inch circuit in just 500 milliseconds. ST's RoboForth software is simple to program and combines robot motion, allowing moving objects to be selected without stopping.

"We built our new Delta Robot in response to a call for high-speed picking and placing on recycling plant conveyors. We combined Igus' sturdy and well-designed modules with our high-speed stepper technology to create a simple and incredibly dependable Delta industrial robot system. The R18 device is suitable for applications that need light and small objects to be manipulated over short distances at high speeds "David Sands, Founder, and CEO of ST Robotics, comments.

ST Robotics' low-cost entry R18 Delta industrial robot solution is tested, shipped in a special transit package, and supplied ready to work – complete with ST's joystick, all wires, an intuitive teach pad, a Windows project manager, and LabVIEW and MATLAB support. A 4th axis rotates and different grippers are available as options.

According to a new market.us report, the global market for Delta Rоbоt is projected to rise at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 8.9% over the next ten years, hitting $369.9 Million in 2028.
